🛠 Installation Guide

NVIDIA Profile Inspector is a portable utility that lets you fine-tune hidden NVIDIA driver settings without installing heavy software.

  1. Download the latest version
  2. Extract the ZIP file to a permanent folder (e.g., C:\NPI).
  3. Run nvidiaProfileInspector.exe from the extracted folder.
  4. (Optional) Create a shortcut to your desktop or pin it to Start for quick access.

🔧 Anisotropic Filtering (AF)

  • Set globally in _GLOBAL_DRIVER_PROFILE
  • Recommended Settings:
    • Anisotropic filter/sample optimization → Off
    • Anisotropic filtering → User-defined / 16x
    • Negative LOD bias → Clamp
    • Quality → High Quality

🧊 Anti-Aliasing (AA)

  • Use game-specific profiles.
  • Settings:
    • AA Compatibility → Per-game flag
    • Transparency Supersampling → 4x SGSSAA
    • MSAA → Override / Enhance
    • Antialiasing Fix → On

🌫 Ambient Occlusion (AO)

  • Enable HBAO+ using compatibility flags.
  • Settings:
    • AO Usage → Enabled
    • AO Setting → Quality / Performance

🖼 Vulkan/OpenGL Layering

  • In NVIDIA Control Panel: Set Vulkan/OpenGL present method to Prefer layered on DXGI Swapchain.
  • In Profile Inspector → Sync & Refresh section:
    • Set Present Method Flag to 0x000802A5

Installed NVIDIA Drivers
